Dr. Christine Hall has been a secondary-level educator for more than 23 years in both the public and private school setting. She has worked as a school administrator in both Florida and North Carolina. As a high school administrator responsible for the Curriculum and Instruction process, she has a unique perspective when it comes to counseling students in academic course selection and rigor. This knowledge has afforded her the ability to easily determine each individual student's recommended rigor and course selection to insure maximum potential for college selection.
During her tenure as a school administrator, Dr. Hall has assisted hundreds of students with their course selections in preparation for the college selection and admission process. She understands the intricacies of the high school setting and is easily able to aide students in navigating the course selection process, as well as working with them to encourage extra-curricular involvement and outside community activities.
As a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), Dr. Hall regularly attends national conferences to keep abreast of the latest issues and happenings in the admissions world. She was a speaker at HECA's Annual convention held last July in Cleveland. Dr. Hall visited over 50 college campuses in 2009 and met with admissions representatives and students from each of the schools. She continues to visit campuses across the nation throughout the year to provide first-hand information to her students. In addition to her membership in HECA, she is also a member of the Southern Association of College Admissions Counselors (SACAC), the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD).
Dr. Hall holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education
from the University of South Florida where she graduated Phi Kappa Phi. She also holds a Doctorate in Education from Vanderbilt
University. Currently, she works as a full-time educational
consultant and is actively involved in the community at-large. She is a member of the Cary Chamber of Commerce and its' Education Committee, the Women Business Owner's Network-Cary, the St. Mary Magdalene SAC, and the Green Hope High School PTSA. Dr. Hall writes regularly for examiner.com as the Raleigh College Admissions Examiner as well as for Saathee Magazine, a South Asian Community publication for the Carolinas. A native South Floridian,
Dr. Hall and her family relocated to North Carolina in 2006. She
has 3 children, one each in college, high school and middle school.
